Annual Spring Plant Sale & Raffle

Friday and Saturday, April 30 and May 1, 2010
hours on Friday: 1 - 6 pm
hours on Saturday: 8:30 am - 3 pm
RAIN or SHINE

Begun almost 40 years ago as the major fund raiser for the Gardens, this sale  is the kick off to the gardening season here in the mountains  It will feature native  plants propagated by the horticultural staff  as well as plants, shrubs and trees from over a  dozen  regional nurseries  and local garden clubs.  Members of the Gardens  will receive discounts on plants at the Gazebo and on items in the Garden Path Gift Shop.

Plant sales begin on Friday at 1 pm.  The sale continues on Saturday, beginning at 8:30 am; food and beverages will also be available on Saturday.

Be sure to participate in the raffle  Raffle items include:

  • PRIZE #1
    Large collection of native plants donated by our vendors. 
    (Value of plant collection is approximately $600.)

  • PRIZE #2
    Garden Goodies Basket (garden gloves, garden tool holder, hand cream, soil scoop, Bert's Bees salve, cooling tie) from the Garden Path Gift Shop. 
    (Value of gift basket is approximately $60). 

Tickets can be purchased in the Gift Shop or at the Gardens during the Spring Plant Sale for $2 each or 3 tickets for $5.  The drawing will be held on Saturday, May 1.  Winners need not be present; they will be notified the following Monday.
