FALL PLANT & RUMMAGE SALE
All gardeners know that fall is the time to put plants in the ground if you want beautiful blossoms in spring, the perfect time of the year for planting shrubs and perennials.
The BGA's annual Fall Plant Sale will be held on the second Saturday in September, from 9 am to 3 pm. The Botanical Gardens and numerous local plant nurseries and garden clubs will offer a wide variety of trees, shrubs, and flowers for fall plantings. BGA members are entitled to a 10% discount on BGA-grown plants as well as purchases at the Visitor Center.
As always, this event is held rain or shine!
The Botanical Gardens is a non-profit organization that receives no city, state or federal funds. Maintenance of the Gardens is funded exclusively by memberships, donations, gift shop sales and fundraising events such as the Fall Plant Sale.
We hope you will support the Gardens by participating in this event. Come and enjoy the beauty of the Gardens and pick-up – conveniently in one spot – some of your favorite plants from the mountains’ choice nurseries. Free admission and parking on site or near by.
The Botanical Gardens at Asheville is located at 151 W.T. Weaver Blvd. (near UNCA). For more information call (828) 252-5190.
